Beam
The Rendcomb is based on a superior beam system. Offering considerable strength and stability, the steel beam structure has particular advantages. Up to five seats can be mounted on a single beam, minimising the necessity for individual leg supports. This frees up floor space and makes cleaning and maintenance simple. Beams can be either floor fixed or free standing and are finished in a variety of epoxy/polyester colour coatings.

Seats and backrests
To offer the maximum flexibility, the seats can be either mounted on the beam in a fixed sitting position or with a manual or automatic tip-up mechanism. Attractively finished steel uprights mounted from the beam support the backrest and can incorporate an armrest. Both the seat and backrest are upholstered over fire retardant foam padding, with each designed and engineered to encourage good posture while providing comfort and support.

Writing shelf
Ideal for use in lecture theatres and auditoriums, the design of the writing shelf is complementary to the Rendcomb Beam System, utilising the same gauged tubular steel supports and floor fixing plates.

The shelf tops are available in a selection of plastic laminates or real wood veneers.

Side Table
A laminate surfaced table top can be mounted onto the beam itself, occupying a seat position, which is particularly suitable for waiting rooms and general public areas.

Installation
Rendcomb beam lengths of up to five seat places can be securely fixed to either wood or concrete floors using specialist fasteners. Race provides a full installation service or will offer advice and fittings for the client's own contractors.
