Continuing its record of being the preferred supplier of seating to regional conference centres, Race completed in December a major installation of fixed and stackable seating at the Manchester International Conference Centre. Consisting of a total of 804 fixed seats, all with foldaway writing tablets the fixed seats incorporated striking design features such as anti-panic writing tablets and exposed polished birch on the seats' arms and reverse sides of seats and backs.

Providing the impressive new building (designed by Shepherd Robson and Partners) with the ability to extend its seating capacity when appropriate, Race also supplied a total of 1185 of its adaptable HDS stackable seats, half of which were fitted with writing tablets.

Race has also provided seating for the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, the International Conference Centre, Westminster, the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre, Harrogate Conference Centre and the National Federal Assembly Hall, Abu Dhabi.
