Race re-seats the Festival Hall
Race designed, manufactured and installed the seats recently installed at the Royal Festival Hall as part of its £100 million plus refurbishment. The original seats installed in 1951 were designed by Robin Day, and Race was commissioned to adapt the seats to incorporate revised standards of comfort, durability and acoustic performance. Race succesfully installs 1500 Chavenage seats at the Colston Halls in Bristol`s premier concert venue.
